	The paintings and drawings will come from more than fifty separate private owners. Such an assembly has not been seen before and it is likely that it will not be seen again - at least not for decades. Vaughan’s first exhibition in 1944 was a success. He sold well throughout his lifetime and his work is in demand now. The best of it is eagerly purchased, and among those who acquire are many who take it to America or the Far East.
